The neighbor refused to cut the tree. My client cut the tree, and was sued because he had cut more than the portion on his own property. The case was settled for a fraction of the claim.

I have handled many cases for uninsured drivers, following an accident. In this situation, the person with car insurance, and not at fault in the accident, makes a claim against his own insurance company. That insurance company then sues the uninsured, or underinsured motorist. The driver has unlimited liability. Anyone else on the title has liability limited to $15000., even if they sold the car years earlier. I can minimize the loss to the uninsured driver by the right strategy in this situation.
